The Shield of the Champion is made of elf-crafted mithral and is incredibly light.
The shield is a +2 magic item. In addition, the shield will magically display the coat of arms of its owner, if the owner has such a thing. Or, it can be made not to if the owner desires not to be known for whatever reason. Switching happens when no one is watching and can be spooky if any observers are superstitious.
